Lee Ann Mahoney, Owner & Designer of Craftology
I’m Kansas City born and raised. I’m a wife and mother of 2 kids, ages 5 and 1 1/2. We also have a 3-year-old Australian Shepard. My grandmother showed me how to sew when I was a little girl. In 2009 she guided me through my first quilt. In 2010 I started Craftology, with blankets and quilts before adding various other crafts, hence the name. In 2016 I became a mom, which gave Craftology a new avenue. I made nearly all of her baby stuff; Crinkle Tag Toys, Burp Cloths, Blankets, crib sheets, car seat cover, etc. I was a full-time working mom doing craft shows on the side until 2020, when I had the opportunity to move to full-time focusing on my crafts. 2021 has been a great year of progress for me as a small business maker, expanding into partnerships with local boutiques, expanding my presence online and getting into bigger events.
